For our first full task day without SCC support, 14 team members worked in Farnham Park, Rowledge and Thursley. One team in each location all Meeting at 10am at Farnham Park Cricket Club and Golf Club car park
John P's team Farnham Park did vegetation clearing at a number of task points along FP 147 which may include strimming, trimming low tree branches, erecting a new waymark post, re-supporting some existing fingerposts and adding additional reflectors. This is quite a long path right across the park area, part in the golf course, Team Leader was
Alan K's team worked on FPs 175 & 177 at Rowledge. Work was vegetation clearing including clearing low tree branches at a good number of task points on both paths, erecting a new waymark post, rebuilding steps to incorporate drainage pipes, additional stones to aid runoff and topped up by road plainings on the steps which will much enhance the walkers experience using FP 175.T
Mary S-J's team upgraded the Greensand Way way-marking from Thursley Church to Brook which follows on from our upgrading in 2015 of Hindhead to tThursley Church. The team also carried out light vegetation clearance where necessary.
